Task #1
(4/26) - The Snowpex Wordle

The first task of the House Hunt has come to an end! The winner of the inaugural task of the 2024 House Hunt is LEGENDA
W! Chase Harrington sent his correctly solved wordle at 10:39am followed closely by Tatum of house Brumblin at 10:40, and Joseph Parascondola of House Pandor at 10:41am.

It must be noted that Tatum guessed the wordle in one try which indeed earns Brumblin an impressed nod from the Order of House Historians and a few bonus points. Pandor will also earn recognition for completing the puzzle so soon after the winner. It must also be noted the Carter of House Brumblin was instrumental in initiating the first task of the Hunt and will be recognized for his House spirit!

Welcome one, welcome all!
(4/26)
Alas, the house hunt has not seen a season this brief since the last clue of the 1972 hunt got wiped from the Watergate tapes...
Anyway!

The fate, and honor of the houses hangs in the balance this year... Will Snowpex honor the conditions of the Three House treaty? Will Pandor make a triumphant return after last years shocking betrayal? No one can say just yet...

Due to the secretive nature of the House Hunt, many specifics regarding the rules and scoring mechanisms remained shrouded in mystery. This is in part to protect against possible attempts to "game the system." And also because of the transience of any formal structure given to this activity. That being said, there are criteria for picking a winner that is detailed here.

Points are earned by houses that complete tasks and gather the various house artifacts. Additionally, non-numeric credit may be given to houses whose team members show remarkable participation, grit, and spirit. House standings will be updated after the completion of each task.

Ground Rules:
1. Any who chooses to participate in the long-standing Pandor tradition of tackling other house members makes themselves liable for a stern talking-to from Lockey, and possible villain status within the house hunt.

2. Those unfortunate recipients of any such tackling shall receive a hero's funeral.

3. House Hunt facilitators are not required to disclose any information about house standings as this is a gentleperson's game and no such whining/griping/bribery will be accepted as means to unfairly reveal or adjust house standings.

4. There shall be a grace period after the end of each task wheren the most recently recovered artifact cannot be stolen from the house that found it. the grace period ends at 9am on the following school day.

5. No person shall store any artifacts in their personal locker space, nor in any personal items, such as bags or jackets overnight.
